In aqueous pigment slurries, our multifunctional amino alcohols perform as powerful wetting agents and co-dispersants for titanium dioxide, clay and other organic / inorganic pigments. Our chemistries enable formulators and manufacturers to produce low-viscosity, stable aqueous slurries for use in many paints and coatings applications, including cardboard and paperboard applications requiring food contact approvals.
Due to their strong interaction with both pigments and dispersing agents, Advancion amino alcohols can help reduce agglomeration and improve overall particle size distribution, while optimizing loading levels of pigments and primary dispersants to enhance sustainable color development in point-of-sale tinting systems and finished coatings formulations. Our specialty surfactants and solvents are ideal for difficult-to-disperse pigments, such as carbon black, in solvent-based systems.
